To my students, I want to thank you so much for the kind words, gestures, letters and gifts you've given me, not only here at the end of my career as your teacher but throughout these past two years. A lot of you mentioned me influencing your life and making an impact on you, though I must tell you that it was I who was impacted and influenced by you. While not all of you bought in to the passion I have for musicianship, a lot of you did and we achieved great things together these last two years! Please rest easily knowing that I won't forget you. Thank you all so much for pushing yourselves to meet my high expectations for you. I demanded a lot and though it was hard, you all worked very hard to meet lofty goals. I'm very proud and honored to have been able to direct and teach you. I will miss each of you as I go forth. I won't be disappearing, though! Stay in touch with me here or by other means. I'll try and visit some time, too :-).

You will be in really good hands next year, I've talked at length with Mr. Riley and he's a good guy who has a lot of passion for music, vision for the future, and is very well qualified.

So, thank you again for all that you've done as my students. I have been profoundly impacted by you all.
